The Jewish Museum of Maryland

Learn about the rich, cultural heritage of African American and Jewish communities in Maryland, and how they helped to build this site. Cost: $6
Freedom Tour
The Flag House & Star Spangled Banner Museum
Grades 4-12
With a joint tour, students will explore the African American’s quest for freedom during Maryland’s antebellum period.  At the Flag House, students will learn about African Americans who lived and worked in the household of flag-maker Mary Pickersgill, who made the Star Spangled Banner.  Cost: $7 
Walters Art Museum Homeschool Program
Visit the museum and the Walter Arts Museum for a joint tour, a living history performance or art project on selected dates (November 15, December 20 and March 21, 2019).  Groups will explore 19th century life, paths to freedom and more.
