Slavery By Another Name tells the history of forced labor on African Americans that occurred in the South for eighty years after Emancipation through World War II. Participate in a civic discussion on the use of forced labor and the criminalization of African Americans in the past and in contemporary times. This forum will include viewing film segments of the documentary Slavery By Another Name and a panel discussion with area scholars.
