Where Art and History Intersect
Bernard Kinsey, collector, will lead educators from around Maryland through the current exhibition, The Kinsey Collection. Mr. Kinsey will lecture on the "myth of absence" of African Americans in American history. Teachers will receive lesson plans on using pieces from The Kinsey Collection, such as an early copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, to teach history and civil rights. The Kinsey Collection, currently on view at the museum through March 2, 2014, is presented by Wells Fargo.
