Get a rare glimpse into African American life at the turn of the century on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in this first comprehensive show of artist Ruth Starr Rose. the exhibition features paintings and lithographs documenting the daily life and spiritual beliefs of the residents of one of the nation’s oldest black communities.
