In Conversation with Celebrity Author Karyn Parson

Join author and actress Karyn Parson (Fresh Prince of Bel Air) for a conversation about her novel, How High the Moon, about one black girl's journey to reconnect with her mother and learn the truth about her white father in the tumultuous times of the Jim Crow South.
The Power of Activism in Children’s Literature
2 p.m. EST (Live)
Join authors Zetta Elliot and Just Us Founders Cheryl Willis-Hudson and Wade Hudson as they discuss the importance of activism in today’s children’s literature as a means to help prepare, heal and activitate their inner selves while growing in this world.
