WYPR’s Tom Hall is coming to The Lewis for a special Juneteenth edition of Midday. For more than 150 years, our nation has grappled with the question of reparatory justice for African-American descendants of slaves. Scholars, legislators and several Democratic presidential candidates have been vocal about the need to confront slavery’s legacy of socio-economic inequality.

Tom Hall will moderate an expert panel discussion that explores who would qualify, what form they might take and who would decide. Join us at the museum to be a part of the listening audience on Wednesday, June 19 at 12 PM.
