Join scholar Dawn Marie Dow and journalist Dani McClain in a thought-provoking talk on the politics of black motherhood with their latest books. Dow examines black middle class mothers approach to parenting through the lens of race, gender and class while McClain discusses how to raise a daughter as a black woman in an unjust and even hostile society.
