2021 High School Virtual Juried
Art Show
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum in conjunction with the Maryland State Education Association(MSEA) presents the 2021 Annual High School Virtual Juried Art Show, showcasing the artistic talent of Maryland’s young artists from Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. This year’s art exhibition theme is inspired by the special exhibition, Make Good Trouble: Marching for Change which documents the local social justice protests of George Floyd’s death and Black Lives Matter through photos, murals, and protest signs. Students were encouraged to create artwork expressing their voices and thoughts on social justice, activism, and systemic racism in America. This year’s high school artists employ diverse styles and mediums including drawings, paintings, collage, photography and mixed‐media to convey a range of interpretations of this year’s theme.
